Travel by private, air-conditioned car from Dubrovnik to Medjugorje with an English-speaking driver. Visit St. James Church and Apparition Hill, then choose local shops or Bosnian food. The driver handles the long road trip, but you explore without a dedicated guide.
“We had a driver not a guide. The lady was very friendly and kind. She dropped us at Apparition Hill and then to St James church as per the schedule. The activity was as advertised so no complaints. I would have preferred to have had a guide who took us to several places and explained all about Medjugorje given we had driven almost 2.5 hours each way….that would have been a better experience for us.”
